Recently, 24 pupils from group 8 of primary school De Samensprong from Volendam visited KIVO Flexible Plastics. After the introductory presentation, a lot of fingers went up in the air. The enthusiastic students took turns firing questions at our plastics specialists.
The children were then divided into five groups for a tour of our office and production site. Our large arsenal of machines clearly impressed the pupils, besides, KIVO Recycling also proved to be a great success.
The focus of the company visit was on processes and sustainability, something that is given a huge amount of attention within KIVO. We think it is important to involve and inform young people about the pros and cons of plastic packaging and how to produce, distribute and (re)use it in the most responsible way possible.
